Happy Saturday, babes! It’s been an interesting week for me, and I hope it’s been wonderful for all of you! My social media feeds have been filled with pictures of friends graduating from college and I couldn’t be happier for everyone. It definitely makes me feel a bit nostalgic though. It seems like I just graduated and said my goodbyes yesterday, so it’s hard to believe that it’s already been a year.
I’ve gotta say though, I’m happy to not have to wear another graduation gown. They are simply not flattering in any way, shape, or form. I would much rather be wearing a maxi dress any day. This printed one is so fun and comfortable, and I knew I had to have it right away. You always know when you can’t wait to put something on, that it belongs in your closet. The fluttery sleeve is my favorite part of the dress because it really draws attention to my neck, which I think is one of the most delicate and alluring parts of a woman. To be honest, I don’t think the dress is the most flattering on me because the print sort of swallows me whole especially with so much fabric, but it’s comfortable and still very pretty. I think I’ll stick to shorter printed dresses from now on though and will look for more simple (and less overwhelming) maxis in the future.
