I’m not ashamed to say that I really looked up to Cher when I first saw Clueless. Despite her silliness, she definitely had style and some great words of wisdom.

Who doesn’t love a girl who knows exactly what she wants?
I began dating someone several months ago, and it honestly has been one of the best things that’s happened to me in a long time. We’ve known each other for over two years and we became really close over the course of this past year. We finally began dating after much chasing and much resisting, and I can honestly say its been wonderful.
All this to say, you don’t need a man/woman to make you, but if you decide to date someone, they should be what you’re looking for. Here are my three tips for finding love (:
1. Don’t settle. Realize that you are amazing and worthy of love.
2. Don’t be afraid. The world is a big, scary place, but you’ve got to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince. Rarely do we get things right on the very first try. Date, have fun, enjoy yourself. Recognize that not everything has to be perfect. I firmly believe that everyone comes in to your life to teach you something. Just because “Mr. Right” turned out to be “Mr. Wrong” doesn’t mean that it wasn’t still a good experience or the right decision. Learn from what was, and help it to shape what will be.
3. Be you. Really. You are wonderful, just the way you are. Anyone who makes you feel like you’re not good enough for them, is not good enough for you. If you love to sing at the top of your lungs in the car, do it, even if they’re staring at you like you have a third eye. You want someone who isn’t going to just accept who you really are (quirks and all), but love who you are. In the end, that’s all you can really ask for.
