Summer is coming and it’s time to whip out all of your bright clothes! It’s all about sunshine and shining. Even if you love the cold and the winter, it’s time to enjoy all the beautiful things in life. Start by sitting down with some kiwi or strawberry, painting your nails the same color as your fruit and just laying out by the pool in a bikini.

I had a photoshoot this past summer with Positive Bar, a delicious line of chocolate bars that have inspirational names like “Hope Bar”, and the creator of the company told me that there is nothing more beautiful that a woman who is confident enough to wear bright and bold colors. He said that women didn’t need to show a lot of skin to be attractive and to catch someone’s eye. After he told me that, I started looking around and keeping an eye out to see if I agreed, and I realized that people who are happy on the inside don’t feel the need to wear skin-tight clothes or clothes that are evidentally too small.

That being said, don’t be afraid to show who you are on the inside. Put something on that really reflects who you are.

Nervous to try an all-over bright outfit? Try a white tank with a high-waisted teal blue skirt.

Still nervous? Start with hot pink nail polish or a yellow belt over a white dress to really make it pop. Fashion should be fun, so experiment!
